Setting up & Coordinating a Presentation, Workshop or Training
In the following information you will read about ways to assist you in setting up and coordinating potential trainings, workshops or presentations. You may have a large enough staff to sponsor and pay for a presnetation, workshop or training with the existing training budget of your agency or organization. Some agencies have found it cost effective to collaborate with several other local agencies who provide similar services to yours or are wanting more specific information about one of the topics. Or opening the presentation, workshop or training up to professionals in the community can assist in the funding of these events.

An actual form to assist in you in your preparation and coordination of a presentation, workshop or training will be available in 2011 on this website.

STYLE

OTHER THOUGHTS
The cost of the event and having Dr. Mathews come to present depends on what level of service you are wanting. Any money collected above the basic costs of his services and related travel costs belongs to the sponsoring group or agency. However, even a break-even result provides your staff with the necessary information to enhance programming, sharpen the skills of staff and can assist in building the overall value of your services. Products and materials can be purchased that support the programming and presentation. All PowerPoint slides are available to the sponsor agency for making the appropriate number of copies for all attendees. In some cases examples of the materials for purchase are included.
